 ***This review will contain spoilers*** This definitely felt like a filler episode in the sense that it focused more on the minor characters and less on Bill and Sookie. We definitely got a break from those two for the most part. This episode feels a little like the calm before the storm. With the way this one went I can say for certain next episode shit will hit the fan!  Poor Tara is about to see a whole lot more darkness before she sees the sun. Her one night stand with Franklin the vampire was definitely uncomfortable to watch and despite her trying to keep her distance from him, he doesn't seem to want to let her go. Not only does he try to find out more information on her, he glamours her so he can get into Sookie's house. ***This review will contain spoilers*** This was such a phenomenal episode! There were no dull moments! Bill surprisingly held his own against the pack of werewolves. Have I mentioned that I do not like Bill? Bill was supposedly not abducted but ‘invited’ by the King of Mississippi; Russell Edgington.  Russell abducted Bill to try and learn of Sophie-Anne’s secrets, bring Bill to his cause and help convince Sophie-Anne to marry Russell so they can share territories. Seeing how broke she is…doesn’t sound like such a bad proposition. However, what is most interesting is that Russell’s pack of wolves are the same ones that Eric and Goodrich were hunting during World War II. It was so great seeing Godric again! He seemed like the only one to keep Eric in check and it was devastating when he passed away.  ***This review will contain spoilers*** This episode is beyond chaotic, Bill's been kidnapped, Jessica killed a trucker, Jason is going off the deep end from killing Eggs and Tara is about to snap.  This episode confirmed that werewolves exist in this universe! I'm happy that this world is expanding slowly but surely. I like when there's a natural progression of a world expanding and not when everything is out in the open right away, it becomes overwhelming as a viewer and with this show it's not too much so soon. Bill gets kidnapped by drug addict werewolves hooked on V gets away from them and the episode ends with the gang in wolf form.  ***This review will contain spoilers*** This episode was so intense! It had so many highs and lows it felt like I was on a rollercoaster for the entire episode.  First and foremost, I need to point out how amazing and selfless Sam is. He put his life on the line and would have sacrificed himself to save Sookie and the entire town from MaryAnn's clutches. If that doesn't scream a knight in shining armor I don't know what does. The plan that he and Bill made up was genius but also extremely risky for they had no way of knowing if Sam turning into a bull would be the key to killing MaryAnn.  Her plan was to kill Sam and use his heart to have her god Dionysus reborn into the human plane. Instead, she comes across a bull thinking it was her god coming to finally be with her. The bull rams it's giant horn into her and she believing she was the ultimate sacrifice allows herself to be killed.  ***This review will contain spoilers*** I find that a lot of the way we're first introduced to characters are very telling of who they are. When we first met Bill, ominous music was playing, he had a sense of mysteriousness and came alone, thus, being a loner. 2 Seasons in and we still don't know much about him other than the flashbacks we've seen.  Now, meeting Queen Sophie-Anne we can see she lives in a compound that scream opulence, she's gorging herself on human blood, completely covered in it. It just shows that she is all about indulging herself with no limitation.  Sophie-Anne and Bill have a weird relationship. She thinks of him as a close friend and forced him to spend time with her. Hadley, Sookie's cousin is a pet to Sophie-Anne and Bill conveniently is with Sookie. *This review will contain spoilers* Opening scene: Sookie dreams of going to Eric right after Godric passes away. They get all hot and heavy. Right when he is about to bite her she wakes up. As I previously mentioned in the past review, it goes to show the effects of what vampire blood can do.  I genuinely loved this episode and laughed quite a bit. This episode wasn't overly packed with events. It was more of one of those episodes that tend to set up the end of the season.  Jason once again surprises me when he takes charge and goes out to see what is going on in Bon Temps and he makes it his mission to stop it. I think it was genius of him to pretend to be the 'god who comes' to save Sam from the crazy townspeople. I like that his character is being utilized a lot more instead of the ex jock/ horny douchebag. I would love to see him as some type of law enforcement figure. ***This review will contain spoilers*** This episode started with a bang. The bomb that Luke had strapped on himself went off and a few vampires and humans died. This episode was extremely depressing but also didn't make sense in certain areas.  Starting off with Bon Temps, things are definitely heating up! Maryann is on the hunt for Sam and has enlisted the townspeople to find him and bring him to her. Sam ends up finding Andy, seeking his help and I'm curious how those two will team up together. I love that Lafayette and Tara's mother went to Sookie's house to have an intervention/ to abduct Tara. Honestly, it was the best thing they could do considering her and Eggs were attacking them. ***This review will contain spoilers*** What a crazy and intense episode! Every scene was on point and there was not a lull in this episode. It just kept you wanting more and seeing what will happen next. I liked that it kept switching from different characters so it kept us engaged and interested.  I wasn't a huge fan of Eric 'sacrificing' himself for Sookie. He normally would do what's best for himself but that manipulation tactic was targeted towards Sookie and it worked! And it's hilarious how gullible she is.  ***This review contains spoilers*** Opening scene was pretty intense in comparison to some openings scenes from season one. Bunch of people naked, possessed and dancing. Sam being restrained to be sacrificed by Maryann. For all the times Andy has been the dickhead playing cop he shoots his gun and it gives Sam the opportunity to run away. Unfortunately, Andy ends up getting his own arm broken playing cop when trying to control the possessed townsfolk. When Andy confronts them in Merlotte's while they are 'normal' they just laugh him off as if he's been drinking again. Both Tara and Arlene have expressed their concerns to them not remembering huge chunks of time. Tara seems to start having concerns when it comes to Maryann.  We discover that Maryann is a maenad which is a follower of Dionysus.  ***This review will contain spoilers*** Bill's maker; Lorena is in Dallas by invitation from Eric. Seems his plan is to get Bill reintroduced to Lorena so he can swoop in and steal Sookie for himself. Not the best plan but certainly not the worst. I love flashbacks we get, especially, from the vampire's point of view, we get to be immersed in their past and we get to experience history from their point of view. It's nice to see how they've evolved over the centuries. One thing I need to point out about Bill is that with every woman is he with he adapts this new persona that matches with the woman he is with. When newly turned all he wanted to do was go back to his family. Once that option was taken away he fully embraced his 'monster' and goes on a killing spree with Lorena. Longshadow, Malcolm and his crew proved that vampires don't give a shit about which humans belong to which vampires unless that human's vampire is old with a lot of power and authority which Bill does not have. (((This review will contain spoilers))) This episode starts right where we left off in the previous episode with Bill yelling at Sookie for her irresponsible decision to let Jessica see her family without realizing the potential consequences.  Honestly, what does Bill see in Sookie? Aside from the fact that she's the only woman who finds him attractive. One thing I really need to point out is the terrible acting when it came to Bill 'driving'. Steering left and right harshly and quickly is not how you drive unless you're having a seizure at the wheel. Just knowing him and being associated with him has brought on a lot of change and danger. To Sookie all this change is disruptive to the little and simple life she has created for herself. At the same time such change might be what Sookie needs to finally thrive and live. But with him? Hell no! Jason is dumber than a bag of rocks. Doing V yet again? Well I said it before and I'll say it again. Bill Compton is creepy! And not just weird something is off creepy. But the I'm possessive and homicidal kind of crazy. Am I wrong? Now what I'm about to say may not seem very important but just let me explain. When Sookie first went into Bill's home, Bill was seated in the corner and partly hidden in the dark. He is physically not part of the night's festivities but instead would rather observe and analysis. This part of the scene and his behavior demonstrates that he is a dominant individual who needs to be in control. His dominant nature definitely comes out when he claimed Sookie as 'his'!
