Bh Cosmetics Shimmering Bronze- 12 Brush Set (Review)

About a few months ago (maybe 2 months) I purchased a new makeup brush set from Bh Cosmetics which to be honest I have been eyeing their makeup brushes for a long time now. They sell all their items online and they are quite affordable. Plus they have 50-70% sales all the time. Even as we speak (hmm more like as I write and you read lol). I am planning on ordering some makeup products from them in the future but after I have reviewed more products from my little stash (actually huge stash).

So what I have is the 12 piece shimmering bronze brush set. Below you can see the brush holder that is just so beautiful. The main reason that I bought this set which cost me about $16-18 but its original price is $27 is because of the brush holder. So whenever I need to go on a trip/sleepover or anything of the like I'll have an easy way to travel with them. These brushes are cruelty free (yay!!!), duo fiber, synthetic bristles and they are super soft!

Below are the first 6 brushes. So from l…

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer (Review)

Hello everyone. So here I have my review on the Smashbox photo finish foundation primer that has become a cult favorite in the beauty community. Heck it's so loved that it has won many awards. And it has been hyped for so long and everyone raves it beyond belief.  So I received a sample of this primer in an Ipsy bag. Specifically, in my June ipsy glam bag. Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that for $10 or $14.95 USD a month you'll receive 4-5 beauty product from samples to full size. If you're interested you can click here.

The full sized primer contains 1oz/30ml and is worth $36. What I have as you can see from the picture below is a sample of the primer which contains .25oz/7.1ml and is worth about $8.52. This primer is made to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores to have a flawless skin. It is oil-free and you can either wear it alone or with a foundation. This is the first time that I've tried products from Smashbox and they have made a good first imp…

What I Love About Makeup

I would like to start off by saying that I've only really started to get into makeup about a few years ago. I think that was mostly because I got sucked in to the whole YouTube beauty community and watching makeup videos all the time. But recently (past 6 months or so) I've really been taking this whole beauty blogger thing seriously. I don't necessarily consider myself a beauty blogger but that I do cover beauty. And beauty review/first impressions. I can guarantee to all of you that I will be writing more reviews on beauty products.

Lately, I have been loving to do my makeup. Granted I don't wear foundation but making up different eye looks or wearing a bright lip definitely makes the process enjoyable. Or even having my highlight "on fleek".

One thing I love about makeup is that I can stand in front of my makeup collection and be inspired to create fantasy makeup looks. Just a little spoiler I will definitely be adding makeup tutorials on my blog so stay…

How To Be A True Friend

This was definitely not an easy thing to write at all but I was asked by a reader how to be a true friend. So I decided to write a post about answering this question because I imagine this is something that we ask ourselves quite often.

Over the past few years I have gotten close to a lot of people and considered a few of those people my "best friend". But I have grown and matured quite a bit and I've realized that a friendship; a good and long lasting friendship is about more than just how you act and what you are willing to do for your friend. It is also knowing how far your friend is willing to go for you.

To cultivate a good friendship there needs to be a self-understanding and to know just exactly what kind of person you need to balance you out but also to motivate you in life and other ventures.

For me I try to distinguish just who exactly in my group of friends brings out the best in me. The one who makes me laugh, smile and enjoy my time with them. Trust me you …

So let me know in the comments down below or email me if you guys would like to see a tutorial on that. Even though I really like the theme I don't feel as if the products connect to it at all.

Horrible Customer Service Experience at Aldo and Call It Spring!

For the past few weeks I've been wanting to purchase a cute fashionable purse that could also hold my laptop but can also be a shoulder bag. I have been using backpacks for years but as I've been getting older I have been wanting to look more professional and less of a student.

So today with my mom and sister we went to Place Versailles near metro Radisson. If any of you live on the island of Montreal you know more or less where I am talking about. And if you don't know well then it is a shopping mall.

So I went to a few stores but then I saw Aldo and I thought to myself 'no better place to check for cute purses' I've bought most of my heels from Aldo so I had a very good opinion of the store. So all three of us go into the store. It wasn't really busy and the first thing I noticed that bothered me a tiny bit is that I nor my mom or sister were welcomed or informed of the current sales. We were practically ignored. LOL scratch that we were ignored. The gir…
