amika | Flash Instant Shine mask (Review)

Image
Product Summary: All shine, no wait. This flash acting treatment mask instantly seals, softens and hydrates hair.  How to use it: after washing, squeeze water from hair, apply in section from root to tip until fully saturated. Wait at least one minute and rinse. Cost: $32 I first received this product in a Ipsy bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 30$ Canadian.  ***Cruelty free*** This is my first time trying a product from amika and I enjoyed it for the most part. I do have almost 30 inches in length of hair so I used up this product quite quickly. I absolutely loved the smell of the product how long it lasted in my hair.  I dye my hair once a month and work out 5+ times a week so my hair needs as much hydration as it can get, especially, the ends of my hair. While the mask did add some shine to my hair it only lasted a couple days. Even using the product consistently the shine didn't last long...

Touch In Sol | No Problem Primer (Review)

Image
Product Summary: The pore minimizing formula of this face primer tightens pores and gives a lifting effect to dull and saggy skin. It also helps minimize the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines; and smooth skin texture so that it avails skin to be seamless. Cost: $17.99  I first received this product in a Ipsy bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 30$ Canadian.  ***Cruelty free*** I have some fine lines around my eyes like everyone else and unfortunately when applying concealer it will settle into said fine lines so a good primer that helps my pores and fine lines is a must in my makeup routine.  I love how quickly this primer works to lift and smooth my under eyes. It clearly makes applying concealer a lot easer. If only I could turn this primer into a tinted version I would be able to skip a couple steps in my makeup routine.  It comes to no surprise that the primer is made in Korea because...

Not Part Of The Plan By: Lucy Score (Book Review)

***This review will contain spoilers*** Summary:  A womanizing bad boy with a motorcycle and sexy-as-sin smile is not part of Emma’s life plan. She moved cross-country to be close to family and finally settle down in hippie, trippy, nosey Blue Moon Bend. But when famed fashion photographer Niko shows up with his leather jacket, underwear-melting voice, and a problem, she sees nothing but trouble. He’s all wrong for Emma, but that doesn’t stop the attraction from boiling over. Niko doesn’t let being friend zoned get in his way. Once he gets his hands—and his mouth—on her, will their friendship survive? Or will he lose everything he’s worked for back in New York to the redhead who dominates his every thought? I swear God is giving me signs after signs because here is another book that called out to me while I was grocery shopping and ta-da! It's another romance novel but this one also hits home in a different manner. I used to never purchase any books while grocery shopping. I ...

Dermal | Collagen Essence Mask Review

Image
Product Summary: I found this assorted 12 pack from TJ Maxx for $9.99 USD. This assorted pack contains hyaluronate, rose, strawberry, green tea, seaweed, collagen, pomegranate, red ginseng, royal jelly, vitamin, pearl and snail. They are meant to sooth the skin, moisturize, brighten and firm the skin.  ***Not Cruelty Free*** As it happens every winter season, my skin desperately screams for moisture. Especially, this past winter with rejoining the gym I've needed to prioritize skincare above anything else. The easiest and fastest way to get a boost of hydration? Sheet masks!  I absolutely love using sheet masks and one way I like using them is wearing them while I sleep. It ensures I get maximum hydration benefits and of course hen there is serum left over I will use it the following days afterwards.  This is going to be a short review but that is a testament to how well these sheet masks worked. As I have repeated time and time again, I have really sensitive skin s...
