Thirst No. 5 : The Sacred Veil By: Christopher Pike (Book Review)

Image
(There will be spoilers) Summary: In her five thousand years as a vampire, Alisa or Sita, as she was originally called has experienced the equivalent of fifty lifetimes. Every moment of her immortal life is seared deep into her being. Every person she has loved, every victim she has killed their faces re forever a part of her. Yet, strangely, a handful of memories have been lost to Alisa. As she and her friends embark on a search for the location of a sacred artifact; an ancient veil that may hold the key to mankind's salvation, Alisa soon realizes that her own mind may be her greatest enemy. The memories she is blocking deal with the most horrifying period in mankind's history, a time when she was tortured by a madman responsible for the death of millions. Natasha Denona | Diamond & Blush Palette- Darya (Review)

Image
Product Summary: This cheek palette was created with a diamond like sparkle, based on Natasha's idea of a new generation of glow, use it to play and achieve a wide range of finishes and look, from natural to extreme. Create a duo-chrome or diamond glow. The palette also includes a new cream blush as well as Natasha's classic powder blush. Costs $117 but I bought it on sale from Sephora for $58 ***Cruelty free ❤*** I have always wanted to try a Natasha Denona product but it has always been too expensive for my taste. However, when this palette went on sale I knew I had to splurge. And yes! $58 for a makeup product is considered splurging for me.  I am a huge fan of highlighters and blushes. They are my go to face products since I don't care for bronzer/ contour. So this face palette is right up my alley. There are 3 cream products and 3 powder products. I didn't use nor need to use any sponges to apply the cream products. Using a regular brush, it picks up the cream pro

OFRA | Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Ipsy Unzipped (Review)

Image
Product Summary: Know how some matte colors can dry out your lips? Not this one. The creamy formula is made with nourishing vitamin E to help keep your lips hydrated, comfy, and soft. It's lightweight, long lasting and stays put for hours. Unwind and unzip into this universally flattering nude-berry shade. Ofra's liquid lipsticks cost $20.  I ended up receiving this item in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. Click  here to check them out. ***Cruelty free ❤*** Liquid lipsticks are a little tricky if you don't know how to take care of your lips. That is why lip scrubs are so essential when it comes to liquid lipsticks. It removes any dead skin and it prepares the lips before applying the liquid lipstick. While this liquid lipstick is super creamy, you still need to use a lip scrub or else you will get clumps throughout the day.  This product is comfortable to wear on the lips.
