True Blood |Season 2 Episode 6: Hard-Hearted Hannah (Review)

 ***This review will contain spoilers***

Bill's maker; Lorena is in Dallas by invitation from Eric. Seems his plan is to get Bill reintroduced to Lorena so he can swoop in and steal Sookie for himself. Not the best plan but certainly not the worst. I love flashbacks we get, especially, from the vampire's point of view, we get to be immersed in their past and we get to experience history from their point of view. It's nice to see how they've evolved over the centuries. One thing I need to point out about Bill is that with every woman is he with he adapts this new persona that matches with the woman he is with. When newly turned all he wanted to do was go back to his family. Once that option was taken away he fully embraced his 'monster' and goes on a killing spree with Lorena. Fast forward to him with Sookie, he acts like a perfect gentleman. You'd hardly believe he is a vampire. It's hard to believe which of Bill to trust.

The couple who is shining through right now is Jessica and Hoyt. Hoyt is such a sweet southern man! He doesn't care if his mother approves of his relationship or not. He cares for Jessica and he's not afraid to let others know he does. His mother cancels his cellphone so he hops into his car to see Jessica so she doesn't think he's ignoring her. Now that is a true loving man. I'm excited to see where this relationship leads to.

Sookie tends to be an oddball when she is in stressful situations so I wanna know why the hell the vampires thought that her sneaking into the Fellowship of the Sun church would be a good idea. As soon as she and Isabel's human: Hugo enter the fellowship they knew right away who she was. So either someone is a rat or they planted listening devices in the sheriff's home. Personally, I would have sent a vampire out at night to scoup the place out and then report back on their findings. They're super fast creatures, I don't know why no one thought of doing this. But instead both Sookie and Hugo end up being abducted and dragged into the basement.

As if things couldn't possibly get any worse, back in Bon Temps Eggs is remembering places that he has been but has no recollection as to why he was there. He and Tara stumbled upon a place in the woods where he has been and it looks to appear like a murder was committed, a lot of dried blood and thorn clothes. They decide to head home and come to find people from Bon Temps in the forest having an orgy and Maryann at the center of it. She ends up possessing them and they end up joining the orgy. I knew something was fishy with Daphne when we saw the scars on her back. But then we see her shapeshift into the same pig that keeps popping up and I knew for certain she was bad news. She ends up leading Sam into the orgy scene and Maryann waiting with a knife looking ready to sacrifice him.

The whole Maryann strange behaviour thing is very interesting and adds a little flair to the show. I'm curious to see what the next episode holds and if Sam is able to escape.
