KVD Beauty | Tattoo Liner (Review)

Image
Product Summary: An award winning waterproof liquid eyeliner with tattoo-bold pigment and an ultra-precise brush tip that makes it easy to get sharp lines every time. Shade in trooper black. Cost: $32.50 ***Cruelty free***  My pursuit for an amazing eyeliner to change my life is still an ongoing mission. Even after using the KVD tattoo eyeliner. It's really good but it's not the best. I'm honestly 50/50 on this. Some days it's absolutely amazing. And then other days it basically disappears or gets smeared. The second I realized that I rather avoid wearing eyeliner than deal with it altogether demonstrated to me that there was room for improvement.  I'm not sure when the award winning waterproof part was supposed to kick in but anytime it was hot or I was running around doing errands it would run or completely disappear if my eyelids were oily. Summer is one of those times where everything is hot and disgusting but you don't want to look like a hot mess.  Rating:...

NYC | Kohl Brow/Eyeliner Pencil (Review)

Image
Product Summary: The NYC brow and liner pencil make lining and defining brows and eyes quick and easy. Special formula is soft enough to easily fill in brows yet firm enough to prevent smudging, and running. Cost around $10. Colour in 921 Jet Black.  ***Not cruelty free*** I can understand and appreciate dual use items but, unfortunately, Jet black is just too dark for my brows. For the purpose of this review, I will be reviewing this strictly for eyeliner use. I love using eyeliner to define my eyes and make them pop but if I can't easily apply eyeliner it'll become the bane of my existence.  The application process could use improvements to say the least. It doesn't apply on smoothly and tugs on the skin which skin around the eyes should be well taken care of since it's so thin and sensitive. Eyeliner tugging on the skin is not a good thing.  I love doing winged eyeliner looks and it's nearly impossible to do with this liner pencil since it's not creamy enoug...

Eyeko London | Skinny Liquid Eyeliner (Review)

Image
Product Summary: This liquid eyeliner is expertly designed to make the application process a breeze with precision point perfection that's fool proof. This easy to apply vegan liquid felt tipped eyeliner pen allows you to create thick feline flicks and thin defined lines. This formula is meant to last up to 9 hours and is smudge-proof. Costs $22.  I ended up receiving this item in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. Click  here to check them out. ***Cruelty Free*** It seems I am doomed to repeat the same cycle when trying out new eyeliners. I have had this streak lately where eyeliners I've tried have been extremely difficult to apply, is not long lasting and I end looking like a drowned raccoon. Unfortunately, this eyeliner does not differ from the rest.  From the very start I have not been able to apply eyeliner on both eyes before the tip of the liner dries out. Whe...

Sephora Collection | Cushion Glossy Eyeliner in Ultra Black (Review)

Image
Product Summary: This glossy liquid eyeliner, dispensed through a cushion-like sponge is an innovation! Paired with Sephora classic must have angled liner brush #90, this feather light, quick drying formula, gives you richly pigmented precision for any desired look! Price: $18.50 ***Not Cruelty Free 👎👎*** It seems I have no luck with eyeliners as of late. I have a string of terrible eyeliners and with every eyeliner I review, the experience gets worse and worse. It's becoming exhausting for me having to have so many shitty experiences with these liners. And it seems this never ending liner tragedy will continue.  This Sephora liner didn't fair too well either. The first few applications were so difficult, the formula dries too quickly to do a perfect winged liner. You basically have 10-15 seconds to apply the liner before it dries and when it dries it's a bitch and a half to go over and perfect what you already applied. I thought maybe if I changed eye...

Ciaté London: Fierce Flicks Liquid Liner (Review)

Image
Product Summary: This liquid liner is easy to apply due to the precision felt tip that makes drawing thin or winging out simple. Your liner is not going anywhere because it is long lasting and has a budge-proof formula. It is meant to glide on even over eyeshadow. This liner costs around 19$.  I ended up getting this liner through my Ipsy glam bag. Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that for around 20$ Canadian you will get 5 items ranging from full size to sample size. You also get introduced to a lot of cool brands that are cruelty free and for me it's nice to discover new companies. For more info on Ipsy, you can check them out  here.    ***Cruelty Free 👍❤*** I don't know if I got a liner from a bad batch but damn! This shit is not budge proof at all. I can't tear up, cry or laugh too much (I tear up when I laugh a lot). Or else it will streak at the corner of my eyes and I look like a hot mess. Definitely, not waterproof too. With just a little ...

Illamasqua: Precision Ink in Abyss (Review)

Image
I originally got my hands on this liquid eyeliner from Ipsy a beauty subscription service that mails 5 beauty products every month. I truly recommend in giving them a try I've gotten products from such amazing companies and I cannot get enough of it. Check them out  here.   This liquid liner is long-lasting and waterproof which is perfect to use anywhere on the face and the body. It contain's a fine tip that allows for a defined application. It also allows you to create intricate sharp lines and the waterproof formula makes it stay on until you wish otherwise. This liquid eye liner costs around $37. For more info on this product check out Illamasqua's website  here. *****Cruelty Free 👍***** On the first try of using this liner I definitely messed up my liner, not so badly though! But it did take some getting used to because I usually use a regular eyeliner brush instead of a fine tip. The brush does pick up a good amount of product, however, you do nee...

Sephora 12HR Wear Waterproof Contour Eye Pencils in Black Lace & Tiramisu (Review)

Image
Before I go into full review mode I would just like to point out that these eyeliners are in special packaging because I got them in a value set (I think that is why they are in different packaging. Not 100% why but they are the same eyeliners). I bought a set of 4 eyeliners for $12 but the reason why I am only showing these two colours is because the other two are discontinued. It would suck for you guys if I reviewed them and you wouldn't have access to them. Even though they are in silver packaging they contain the same amount of product as the regular packaged ones.  Each eyeliner pencil is worth $12 which is the same amount I paid for 4 of  +Sephora 's 12HR waterproof eye pencils. Both shades have a matte finish and the formula is meant to be resistant to water, heat and humidity making it last 12 hours with no smudges. For more info on these liners you can check  here  on Sephora's website. ***These liners were not tested on animals according to Seph...

bellápierre Gel eyeliner (Ebony) Review

Image
I received this gel eyeliner in my May Ipsy glam bag. If you don't know Ipsy is a beauty subscription service where you can pay $10 a month if you live in the states, however, if you live in Canada like I do you would have to pay $14.95 American dollars. If you would like to check them out you can click here. Basic Info: I received a full size version of bellápierre's gel eye liner in Ebony which retails for $14.99 and is 1.8 grams. This gel liner is a creamy, preservative-free eyeliner pencil formulated with pure 100% minerals, natural waxes and antioxidants. Opinion: First off I have to say that this is an amazing gel eyeliner! It has great pigmentation as you can see from the picture below. On the top left part of the picture I have swatches of this eyeliner. The swatch on the left shows just how pigmented this eyeliner can get. I did layer the swatch by two to three times. The swatch on the right is just one swipe of the liner so you can build the color. It glides on...

Buxom Dealer's Choice: Hold the line Eyeliner and Full-Bodied Lip Gloss(Review)

Image
So I`m back with a review on some Buxom makeup products. These are the first Buxom products that I own and I'm actually proud of that. I got this a long time ago when I visited Sephora which is the most beautiful mystical land in the entire world! And I'm not even joking. Now onto the reviews!!!!! Mini Hold the Line Waterproof eyeliner (Call Me): So first off I am writing about the eyeliner and to be honest with all of you it's not the worst eyeliner I've ever owned/worn but it's not the best either. Not by a long shot. It's kind of one of those in between. It did have some nice pigmentation and was creamy enough that I didn't feel that I was ripping off my eyelid. However, what I did not like which I'm pretty sure all of us don't like is that it smudged quite a bit. Not too much that I started to look like a raccoon but enough that it bothered me. So yes I am happy with this product I just wish it would have been smudge proof.  Full Bodied Li...

Too Faced Better than Sex (Amazing eyes set): Review

Image
Better than sex mascara: It truly has become one of my favorite mascaras. However, the thing about it that you have to find different ways in using it. At first I didn't like it but then I gave it a while. And to me it seemed that every time I applied the mascara my lashes kept looking fuller and fuller. One downfall to this otherwise amazing mascara is that it sometimes creates fallout meaning that it flakes off that times. Some days it does some days it does not.  Perfect eyes Eyeliner in Perfect black:  Well it definitely was not what it's names is trying to say. It was far from being perfect. If I only lines my top lashes and I didn't take any extra precautions the liner would run and smudge and it was just a hot mess. Nothing about it was great. It was creamy but a little too creamy for my liking. It didn't work for me and now the only time I can ever wear this liner is when I smudge eyeshadow on the bottom of my eyes.  Rating time!!!!!  ...
