Ipsy December Glam Bag 2015 (First Impressions)

Image
I'm always late on these first impressions but nonetheless I always do them. If all of you don't know  +ipsy  is a beauty subscription service that for $10 or $20 for us Canadians you can receive 5 beauty products ranging from sample to full sizes. If you would like to know more then you can  click here.  So for this month's theme it is from what I can guess a thank-you theme. Essentially, the card says thank-you for an amazing 2015 and we the subscribers have made them what they are today. The theme is okay but I wished that they would have made the December theme festive. Other than the red bag nothing tells me it's a December bag. 1- Marc Anthony (Hydrating Coconut Oil and Shea Butter Deep Nourishing Conditioning Treatment)  I did a lot of research to find information on this product and it seems that what I received is full sized. It contains 50 ml and it retails for $2.99. I love trying out new hair care treatments. The treatment contai...

Ipsy Glam Bag November 2015 (First Impression)

Image
Hey everyone! So here I am with my first impression of the November glam bag that I am running behind on. So Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that for $10 a month or for us Canadians $14.95 American you can receive 4-5 beauty products that range from samples to full sized products. If you guys want to check it out you can  click here.  Plus it is a great way to discover new products and companies. So this month's theme is beauty blast. I don't really know what that means but I can only assume that it relates to the galaxy/space. I'm not really feeling this theme but the colors and aura connected to it is pretty cool. Ipsy November Glam Bag Crown Brush (C 412 Deluxe Pointed Crease Brush): Super stoked that I got this brush in this month's bag. I love crease/blending brushes so the fact that I got one makes me really happy. This brush retails for $12.38 but Crown Brush always have things on sale. The bristles feel really soft but the first time I saw ...

Ipsy Glam Bag October 2015 (First Impression)

Image
Hey everyone! So here I am with my first impression of the October glam bag that I am running behind on. So Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that for $10 a month or for us Canadians $14.95 American you can receive 4-5 beauty products that range from samples to full sized products. If you guys want to check it out you can  click here.  Plus it is a great way to discover new products and companies. For this month's theme it is alter ego. I really like the concept and I might even do a makeup tutorial on one. So let me know in the comments down below or email me if you guys would like to see a tutorial on that. Even though I really like the theme I don't feel as if the products connect to it at all. Nourish Organic Argan Face Serum: As you can see from the picture above I received a deluxe sized sample. The full size contains 0.7oz/20ml and is worth $23.99. While the sample that I have contains 0.5oz/14ml and is worth $16.78. It is 100% natural and organic. It conta...

Ipsy Glam Bag September 2015 (First Impression)

Image
So...This is really late of me but better late than never, right? Gosh that sounded bad even to me. There is no excuse as to why I haven't done this first impressions for this September glam bag but please forgive me! So Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that for $10 a month or for us Canadians $14.95 American you can receive 4-5 beauty products that range from samples to full sized products. If you guys want to check it out you can  click here. So for this month's bag the theme is face fashion. Love the concept but I don't think it was well executed. I thought I would have received more face products because that is the theme for September's glam bag but as you can see from the icture below that is far from what I got. Ipsy Nyx EyeShadow Trio: So this is eye shadow trio from Nyx is exclusive to Ipsy. It's "called" IpsyNyx01 which makes me believe that their will probably be more made for Ipsy. But focusing on what is important, these colo...

Ipsy Glam Bag August 2015 (First Impression)

Image
Yeah I'm late on my first impressions for August's glam bag. Honestly, I did not film a video of myself unbagging it but that's because I haven't really felt like filming videos anymore. I've been quite taken with my blog and other writing ventures. So first impression videos are going to have to take a backseat. So for the month of August the theme is prep school. Okay concept but it is cliche. If all of you don't know Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that for $10 you can receive 4-5 beauty products that are either full-sized or deluxe-sized. It delivers both in the States and Canada. The only problem for us Candians is that it actually costs us $20 Canadian. But nonetheless you always get products that are worth more than the $20 or $10 that you paid for. If you want to subscribe you can  click here . August Glam Bag: The bag actually matches the skirt of Michelle Phan. The bag reminds me of Cruella de vil from 101 Dalmatians. I do like the openin...

Ipsy July 2015 Glam Bag (First Impression)

Image
So for July's glam bag the theme is Summer Lovin'. Anyone else immediately thinking about Grease's  song  Summer day's? If you guys don't know Ipsy is a subscription service where every month you get a makeup bag filled with sample/deluxe/full sized products from various companies. For all of you guys in the States it costs only $10.00 while us folks here in Canada, once you convert it to Canadian dollars it costs around $20.00. Quite frankly, I've only had this subscription service for 3 months and already I love it. Yes, I did not like last month's bag you can click here if you want to read my first impression. But at the end of the day I am getting products that are of a higher value than the actual amount I paid for the subscription. Who can be upset with that?  If you want to subscribe to Ipsy you can  click here My overall impression of the bag is that there are a bunch of different high end products that I know I w...

Ipsy June Glam Bag (First Impression)

Image
Hey guys, So I received my June Glam Blag a few weeks ago and I thought that I should share with all of you my first impression on the products. . You might see some excitement on my face, you may not. And of course I had to add a photo, it is right below. And for the month of June the theme was Swim into Beauty. My overall impression of everything that I received is that I wasn't satisfied with what I got. Granted most of the products I received are from brands that I have never tried before but still last month`s glam bag was better. If you guys want to check it out, you can click  here  for it. Also, I have to pay $20 Canadian for my Ipsy bag since I'm in Canada which is why I was disappointed with the products because they were all sample/deluxe sized. If you want to subscribe to Ipsy or want to check it out you can  click here. June Glam bag: For this month I didn't really like the makeup bag because it didn't really fit with the theme. It was b...

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (Review/ first impression)

Image
So I bought this Real Techniques complexion sponge on the whim because I always saw it at Walmart and I was always intrigued by it and by other sponges as well. At the time I had extra change in my wallet and thought "what the heck? Why not?" And after using this sponge for a few weeks I can genuinely say that it is a miracle sponge! Already my complexion alone is overall quite good but added with the miracle sponge. Umm yeah I think I'm going to buy 20 more of these. Absolutely loved this sponge that can do many things. You can apply foundation, concealer, setting powder, cream blush, and liquid bronzer with this sponge. Which I paid under $10 for this beautifully diversified beauty sponge. I would give this sponge 5 stars on 5 for its diversity in uses and for making my makeup looking flawless. I can practically do my whole face makeup using just this sponge. It took me a while to truly understand how to use this tool. And the one point of advice I could give ...
