L'Oréal: Visible Lift Blur Concealer (Review)

Before going right into this review I would like to let all of you know that I am planning on reviewing a heck of a whole lot more of concealers because I need to find a way to conceal these dirt-bags of under eye circles. They have been the bane of my makeup existence and I need to find some magical concealer made from Unicorn horns and the tears of the stars to conceal this mess. If you guys and gals have any suggestions for me then please with the kindness of your hearts send me an email or comment down below letting me know which concealer will help improve my life.

This visible lift blur concealer by +L'Oréal claims to blur the look of lines, spots and under eye circles which to me is exactly the problems I have with my under eyes. I have under eye circles and fine lines which I find for me are hard to conceal. So this concealer is going to have to prove its worth! This concealer contains 20 ml and retails for around $14 but y'all know I didn't pay that! I got it on sale for $1.60. Strangely enough, there is a warning on the back stating it is flammable when wet. WTF? That is the weirdest warning I've ever read on a makeup product.

The concealer does have a thick consistency. The colour that I have is (302) light. I do believe that this is the lightest shade in their collection which at that there isn't many shades in the collection. The darkest colour is medium so I don't know what L'Oréal is doing for darker skinned tone individuals. So there isn't much variety. Even though this concealer has a thick consistency, it has a light coverage.

This concealer made my fine lines even more apparent. I cringe every time I see a picture of myself wearing this concealer because the first thing I notice are my fine lines. Just seeing that picture below makes me shake my head in disappointment. I call bullshit on this blur-technology because that is not what happened for me. On top of that it did not cover my under eye circles at all. If anything, it made my under eyes seem a bit grey. Although, this concealer did help conceal spots but it did not conceal current pimples (which honestly what's the point then?).

I have tried so many different ways to make this concealer work for me and it was a let down. I tried applying it with my finger (didn't blend properly, obviously), I've tried blending the concealer with my Real Techniques sponge, I tried setting it with a loose powder, I've even tried baking and nothing has helped with this concealer. I'm happy I didn't spend a lot of money on this.

*****This is not cruelty-free👎*****

Rating:
I am giving this visible lift blur concealer 1 star on 5. This concealer did not help conceal my under eyes or current pimples and it made my fine lines really apparent. This claimed to help everything that it didn't do. This is just a disappointing product for me. I am glad that I didn't spend $10+ on it because I personally think that it's not worth it. However, I will try and finish it up as a face product (not as a concealer) and get it out of my collection. I would like to point out that just because it didn't work on me, it doesn't mean that it wouldn't work on you.

That's all for this review. Let me know if you've tried it and you've had a different result than me. Don't forget to follow my blog for more reviews💖

    1. Hello! You are the first to reach out to me about something like this. I don't know what could be the cause but I do know it doesn't have to do with how my blog has been set up. Might be a browser issue? :/
