What I Love About Makeup

I would like to start off by saying that I've only really started to get into makeup about a few years ago. I think that was mostly because I got sucked in to the whole YouTube beauty community and watching makeup videos all the time. 

Lately, I have been loving to do my makeup. Granted I don't wear foundation but making up different eye looks or wearing a bright lip definitely makes the process enjoyable. Or even having my highlight "on fleek".

One thing I love about makeup is that I can stand in front of my makeup collection and be inspired to create fantasy makeup looks. Just a little spoiler I will definitely be adding makeup tutorials on my blog so stay tuned for those. I am a creative person and so makeup is an extension of my creativity and lets be honest with each other. Doing our makeup in the morning or whenever without a doubt gives us a confidence boost. For me it certainly does.

Now I'm going to share with all of you what I really love about makeup. I love finishing a beauty product. Whether it be a lipstick, eye shadow or a face product. I get giddy when I hit pan on a product. It just shows that I have been loving that product and I'm using it up.

If you guys have gotten glimpses in the beauty community; you'll notice that people will have makeup collections and spend thousands upon thousands of dollars for makeup and then they end up with a lifetime (and longer) of makeup that they can't use up. Their collections are insanely huge! I actually get a bit anxious when I see a huge amount of makeup not being used. I am not that type who needs a backup of everything or needs to repurchase when I have finished a product.

Actually, when I finish a product I simply move on to another product I've never tried. And as you all may know I have a LOT of catching up to do. My makeup collection is currently at a spot that I am happy at and I feel I really need to use up products.

Going back to my love for finishing makeup. I unquestionably get a sort of pleasure when using up makeup. I certainly don't get upset when I do I guess I'm different in that sense.

So that's why I love makeup. I know this post was random in a sense but hopefully you enjoyed reading it :)

    Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
    Is it very difficult to set up your own blog?
    I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
    I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where
    to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?

      Honestly, it's not very hard at all! There are so many different nowadays where you can just pick out the lay out of how you want your blog to be. I'm on a few. I'm on blogger and on Medium https://medium.com/@amandaweidensjo But it all depends where you feel most comfortable starting a blog at. Hope this helped :)

True Blood: Season 1 Episode 6 Cold Ground (Episode Review)

((((((This review contains spoilers.)))))) Adele Stackhouse is dead and of course Sookie is in shock but damn everyone keeps on bugging her. Can everyone just let the poor girl grieve? Of course Sam and Bill have to seize each other up. My question is why does Bill think he knows Sookie so well? Dude, you've known her maybe a week tops. Or has he known her for a week as he would like everyone to believe? I don't understand how Sookie was able to clean up the kitchen after her grandmother was murdered in it. The widowed mother Alice and her two daughters Paulina and Doris. Due to losing her husband, Alice becomes the sole provider for her family and to earn some sort of income she performs séances to help her clients get closure from their passed loved ones. She makes money off of scamming people and she uses both her daughters to do it. Personally, I think it's really fucked up to exploit someone's pain and grief to make a few quick bucks.
