Doucce | Maxlash Volumizer Mascara (Review)

Image
Product Summary: Intensify your lashes with outrageous length and volume. The extra large brush fiber bristles are cut long on one side to lengthen lashes and short on the other to coat lashes for ultimate volume. The velvet carbon black formula enhances the lashes adding depth and dimension that creates visually fuller and larger lashes. This creamy and buildable formula is flake-proof, resistant to sweat and humidity, and will not clump. Cost: $24  I ended up receiving this item in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian.  Click here to check them out.  ***Cruelty Free*** This mascara definitely has a unique brush that I have yet to find thus far. I don't wear false lashes so the most my lashes will ever see is multiple coats of mascara. Otherwise, they are practically nonexistent.  In terms of length and volume, it didn't do anything more than what every other masca...

Sugar Rush | Lash Smoothie Mascara (Review)

Image
Product Summary: This 2-in-1 formula (it’s part mascara, part lash treatment) gives your lashes instant volume and length and helps deep condition with a blend of avocado, baobab, and plant oils. The want has short bristles to separate and define lashes, and long bristles to boost volume and curl. It’s everything you need in a mascara. Cost: $25 Sugar Rush was created by Tarte cosmetics. The packaging is deceiving but essentially it’s a makeup line curated for teens and young adults and is meant to be affordable. In my opinion   I don’t know where they thought a $25 mascara is affordable? Drugstore is $10 or less… I ended up receiving this item in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. Click  here to check them out.   ***Cruelty free*** I have never had a mascara quite like this before. The bristles are extremely rigid in comparison to regular mascara bristles. If this is...

Smashbox | X-Rated Mascara (Review)

Image
Product Summary: This triple threat brush isolates and magnifies each lash, while applying its fiber-loaded formula. Sky-high and defined lashes in just one swipe. The formula is clump, flake, and smudge-proof! Cost: $20-25. I ended up receiving this mascara in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. Click  here to check them out.   ***Cruelty free*** Mascara is one of these beauty products that I don't use on a daily basis, unless, it's new to my collection and I'm reviewing it. For my day to day, I tend to stick with eyeshadows and depending on the amount of time I have I'll maybe apply eyeliner. To me, mascara is too much a pain in the ass to remove on a daily basis and depending on which one's I use it tends to get everywhere.  I don't have the most amazing eyelashes so any mascara that can make them pop I consider a win in my book. The X-rated mascara adds a bunch...

Eyeko London | Lash Alert Mascara (Review)

Image
Product Summary: A botanically-infused and fiber filled formula, this mascara will give your lashes instant energy thanks to caffeine and biotin. Lifting the sleepiest of lashes and conditioning with arginine, this black mascara gives perkier volume, curl and care all day.  How to use: The curved brush will hug all the way around your lash line. To enhance the lifting effect, carefully rotate the brush backwards on itself when you reach the tips of your lashes to encourage curl. Cost:$19 I ended up receiving this item in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. Click  here to check them out.   ***Cruelty free*** I don't know what it is about this mascara or if it's a specific ingredient but every time I apply it, my eyes water like crazy. At first, I thought it was allergies but my eyes shouldn't be watering for 8+ hours a day. I realized it was the mascara the culprit when...

Maybelline | Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Washable Mascara in Very Black (Review)

Image
Product Summary: The exclusive great little grabber gets to each and every lash with precision for lots of volume from corner to corner. Volume builds with each coat, no clumps and no mess. It is also contact lens safe. Costs around 6.99$. From the very first application on my lashes, they clumped together! I don't know where the no clump claim came from but here I am trying to make my lashes look fuller and longer, instead I get a clumpy mess. One application and it is a mess, if I try for a second application it's a hot mess and I get spider lashes. Definitely, not a cute look. It's so frustrating and I have to brush my lashes apart with a spoolie but then I get a lot of fall out on my upper cheeks. This product is a mess to use from start to finish. It does make my lashes look fuller but the process and hard work to get there is simply not worth it. *** Not Cruelty Free 👎👎*** Mascara should be the easiest part about a makeup application so when a product like...

Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara (Review)

Image
Time for another review! As you can see from the picture below I have a sample of the smoky extravagant mascara from  +MAKE UP FOR EVER . The full size at  Sephora  retails for $30 and contains 0.23oz. While the one I have contains 0.13 oz and is worth about $17. As strange as it may be I was really sure that it originally cost $28 but I guess they bumped up the price.  This mascara is meant to add volume, length and curl while also being clump-free. The mascara is meant to be long-lasting while being able to define each lash for a extravagant impact.  I have to say that this mascara does not clump unless you don't wait for the first coat to dry and there is no fall out. I love the length that it gives me because I can't wear fall lashes due to my glasses (I know! The horror!) I did notice that after 14 hours the mascara does smudge under my eyes but I feel like my lashes look a lot fuller and longer which is what I love. However, I did find when apply...

Too Faced Better than Sex (Amazing eyes set): Review

Image
Better than sex mascara: It truly has become one of my favorite mascaras. However, the thing about it that you have to find different ways in using it. At first I didn't like it but then I gave it a while. And to me it seemed that every time I applied the mascara my lashes kept looking fuller and fuller. One downfall to this otherwise amazing mascara is that it sometimes creates fallout meaning that it flakes off that times. Some days it does some days it does not.  Perfect eyes Eyeliner in Perfect black:  Well it definitely was not what it's names is trying to say. It was far from being perfect. If I only lines my top lashes and I didn't take any extra precautions the liner would run and smudge and it was just a hot mess. Nothing about it was great. It was creamy but a little too creamy for my liking. It didn't work for me and now the only time I can ever wear this liner is when I smudge eyeshadow on the bottom of my eyes.  Rating time!!!!!  ...
