Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (Movie Review)

Gosh, where do I begin with this review? Usually sequels never do better than the first movies and that's it right here. I guess you can say since the first movie was so great that this one should have topped it but it just didn't for me.

Paul Blart after going through Black Friday madness got married, got divorced six days later, lost his mother because she was hit by a milk truck, and his daughter got accepted into college. 

So Paul definitely broke Kim Kardashian's  record of being married for 73 days. Congratulations to Paul! For only being married for six days. And then he lost his mom and after being a hero six years later he feels like a zero. He receives this letter to go to a security guard convention and might receive the safety medal of honour. 

Now I'm not going to say that I didn't like the movie but I didn't exactly find it very thrilling. The action only started with only 20 minutes left of the movie. 

There were some funny parts especially when he kept trying to tell the hotels manager that he wasn't interested in her. And she kept trying to tell him that she wasn't interested in him either. But then she actually started to feel infatuated with him. 

Another funny scene is when Paul brought his back up which basically were security guards from the convention. If they were really in such a situation do you think that security guards could beat trained professionals? Yeah didn't think so. But when the black female security guard toke on the female trained professional it was hilarious. She didn't even move when she got punched in the face! Love it! 

So I'm giving this movie 2.5 stars on five. Granted this was a comedy but I didn't really like the story line nor did I like that the action only started in the last 20 minutes.
