Product Summary: This limited edition palette was in collaboration with Jean-Michel Basquiat. If you're like me then you have no idea who this Jean-Michel guy is and why he teamed up with Urban Decay. Luckily, the packaging gave me a bit of insight on who this guy is. Essentially, he rose to fame in the 80's art scene in New York City and was the pioneer of he neo-expressionist movement. The packaging is a mini reproduction of Basquiat's artworks. This limited edition blush palette holds four shades of blush, bronzer and highlighter. (3 shades are supposed to be new but I don't know the Urban Decay line enough to know which 3 are new). Once you finish using this palette you can frame it on your wall like artwork.  Normally, I would be able to give you a price point on this product and whether it is cruelty free or not. This limited edition eyeshadow palette contains 32 shadows that include everyday neutrals, smoky, highlighting shades and bright pops of colour, This palette is essential for beginners and makeup artists alike. The center shades are perfect for everyday use while the surrounding shades are great for smoky looks and pops of colour. This palette costs $32 but is valued at $180. Below you can see all 32 shades from the palette swatched. I will say that some of the more neutral and lighter shades are harder to see on my skin but I did try to pack up the colour for it to be noticeable. If there are some that you cannot see you can check further down this post to see a picture of the palette itself. ****I'm not sure if this palette is cruelty free or not because Sephora took down the information for the palette before I could write down the information. If I'm not mistaken a good chunk of the Sephora collection is cruelty free (at least all the items I've purchased so far). ...

This limited edition  +Sephora  collection palette costs $38 and contains 72 eyeshadows, 18 cream eyeliners, 32 lip-glosses and six blushes. A total of 128 eye, lip and cheek colours for an infinite number of looks. For more on Sephora's collection you can check out their  website here. I bought this palette to spoil myself for my 20th birthday and I wanted a palette that had variety for whenever I want to do fantasy makeup looks and for everyday makeup wear as well. I also wanted more for my buck. So, that's why I also wanted this palette. Plus, I've noticed not many people have reviewed this palette. Guess the beauty community hasn't hyped up this palette yet. Or ever will hype it up.
