ColourPop | The Big Box Of Lippie Stix (Review)

Image
Product summary: This vault holds 48 shades and 3 different finishes (Matte, Creme, and Blur.) From nudes to pinks, red to vampy, the big box is a makeup lover's dream! Paid $166 CAD. It ends up being $3.45 a piece.  ***Cruelty free*** I absolutely love the variety in colours and finishes. You have so many ranges of colors for any season/occasion and any type of makeup look. What drew me in were all the neautral/nude shades. A nude colour looks amazing on me with my complexion.  I'm not one that lines her lips then applies lipstick because oftentimes lips are the last thing I apply and by then I'm already needing to be out of the door. So, I tend to apply lipstick in a hurry or in the car. I love these lippies because I can leave a bunch of them in different handbags. There are quite a few neutral shades so most of the time they will pair well with what i am wearing and how I have done my makeup.  Rating: 5 stars on 5! I adore how each finish looks on my lips whether I wa...

Bellápierre | Mineral And Matte Lipsticks (Review)

Image
Product Summary: Bellápierre's lipsticks are formulated with natural waxes, mineral pigments, iron oxides and nourishing antioxidants, such as vitamin C and vitamin E for luscious, flawless lips. The lipsticks are 100% natural and provide long lasting color. The mineral pigments provide natural protection from the sun. Shades in matte: Incognito. Mineral lipsticks: P.I.N.K and Ruby.  Cost: $15 each.  I ended up receiving these lipsticks in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. Click  here to check them out.     ***Cruelty free*** These lipsticks are extremely easy to use and are very pigmented. They apply easily, are extremely moisturizing to the lips and it sits comfortably on the lips as well. The only downside to them is they aren't long lasting. The lipstick breaks down very quickly whether I'm eating or drinking it doesn't last.  One great thing about...

Marc Jacobs | Le Marc Lip Crème (Review)

Image
Product summary: A rich, velvety, ultra-hydrating lipstick that delivers a dramatic punch of vivid pigment and endless hours of luxurious wear. Costs: $30. Lipstick I have is in the shade Kiss Kiss Bang Bang 216.  ***Cruelty free*** The colour is gorgeous and totally up my alley. It works well with my complexion, it's very pigmented and it's a nice summer shade. It applies easily and is very creamy but it ends there. Honestly, I had high hopes for this lipstick, especially, since it's described as being ultra-hydrating.  But this dries out my lips like you wouldn't believe. Maybe 10 minutes after application and it dries out my lips. The dried out parts of my lips were crumbling off and peeling off. And it specifically does this whether I exfoliate my lips or not.  It does last a long time on the lips but it's so uncomfortable  and it doesn't sit well that I just want to wipe it off right away. When it comes to eating or even drinking I just have the urge to wi...

Pacifica Beauty | Power Of Love Natural Lipstick In Nudie Red (Review)

Image
Product summary:  Amazingly creamy, highly-pigmented, and naturally moisturizing. This lipstick is packed with all the vitamins and antioxidants your lips crave. Made with coconut oil, shea butter, and vitamin E. It is also 100% vegan. Costs around $8-9. I ended up receiving this item in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. Click  here to check them out. ***Cruelty Free 👍*** Despite this lipstick being natural, it smells very artificial and almost like plastic. A bit of the shea butter scent comes through but for the most part it doesn't smell good. It's so rough to apply on the lips. Every time I apply it, the lipstick will tug on my lips. It also feels heavy on the lips. Whenever I eat or drink something, I get the horrible taste of plastic in my mouth which tastes quite disgusting and awful. I have to wipe my mouth completely of this lipstick and once I'm done eating I r...

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick in Copper Pink (Review)

Image
For today I am reviewing  +MAKE UP FOR EVER 's Rouge artist natural moisturizing soft shine lipstick in N.9 Copper Pink (wow isn't that a mouthful. Imagine saying that three times straight) As you can see below I have a mini sample of the lipstick which I find totally cute. I got mine for free at  +Sephora  it was a happy birthday freebie. The full size is shockingly (but not really shockingly because it's Makeup Forever) worth $20. It smells so goooood! No exaggeration on my part I can guarantee you that. It is vanilla scented but gosh I can smell this lipstick for hours on end. This lipstick is meant to keep the lips hydrated after 8 hours of applying it. Weirdly enough the name of the lipstick is not on the lipstick, all it had was N.9 on it. So just found that strange. For more information on this lipstick you can click  here. I do have to say that I love the formula. It feels very creamy and moisturizing. The lipstick does wear off after a few hours...
