Ipsy September Glam Bag 2016 | First Impressions

+ipsy  is a beauty subscription service that for $10 or $20 for us Canadians a month you will receive 4-5 beauty products ranging from sample to full sizes. This is beneficial to those who want to try out different and new beauty products that you otherwise wouldn't necessarily have been able to find in drugstores. Plus the value of the the whole glam bag (all the products) you receive are higher than the $10 or $20 that you would pay. For more information on Ipsy you can click here.

This month's theme is Glamazon. I do have to say that I really like the theme. Mostly because my birthday is in September and I do love being glamorous with my makeup.

1-Living Proof | Perfect Hair Day (PhD) 5-in-1 styling Treatment
This styling treatment is meant to smooth, volumize, condition, strengthen and polish to help anyone get a perfect hair day. It has been seen that there is less hair left behind in the brushes. And it keeps hair styles cleaner for longer. The sample I have is worth $7.50. You guys know I love haircare products so I can't wait to review this product.

2-It Cosmetics | SuperHero Mascara in Super Black
This mascara is formulated with peptide and proteins for extreme volume and unbeatable strength. It is also formulated with Biotin and collagen to strengthen and plump lashes. This sample is worth $13.33. Who doesn't like mascara? I'm not much of a fake lashes kinda gal so I'll see if this will give me super long thick lashes.
3-Pix! By Petra | Mattelustre Lipstick in Rose Naturelle
This vintage rose shade suits everyone which is creamy and its conditioning texture won't dry out lips. It also contains peptides, hyaluronic acid and vitamins C and E. This little sample is worth $3.50. I absolutely love this shade!

4-Dr. G | Daily Safe BB in Fair
It is meant to smooth, hydrate and cover blemishes while protecting the skin from the sun. It works for skin prone to irritation, redness and rosacea. The flower extract makes it extra moisturizing. The essential oils help repair cells for a healthier complexion. This sample is worth $3.55. I do have an issue with redness so I'd like to see if this BB cream will be able to cover it.

5-Eau Thermale Avène | Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum
This hydrating serum contains a high concentration of  Avène Thermale Spring water that softens skin. The silky-smooth formula feels like a primer. It also is meant to relieve tightness and irritation in the skin. This sample is worth $6.33. I'm really curious to see if this will actually make a difference to the skin.

6-September Bag
This has got to be one of the nicer bags that I have received thus far. The bag is so cute and boujee (yup I used that word). The bag itself is worth $5.

Overall Impression:
Adding it all together this month's bag is worth $39.21. I'm disappointed that I have yet another low value bag. I wish that I would receive high valued bag like I used to receive. I am sad to say that this will be my last Ipsy first impressions. If you guys actually want me to continue writing them then you can email me at AmandaWeidensjo.inquiries@gmail.com
