Ipsy September Glam Bag 2016 | First Impressions
+ipsy is a beauty subscription service that for $10 or $20 for us Canadians a month you will receive 4-5 beauty products ranging from sample to full sizes. This is beneficial to those who want to try out different and new beauty products that you otherwise wouldn't necessarily have been able to find in drugstores. Plus the value of the the whole glam bag (all the products) you receive are higher than the $10 or $20 that you would pay. For more information on Ipsy you can click here.
This month's theme is Glamazon. I do have to say that I really like the theme. Mostly because my birthday is in September and I do love being glamorous with my makeup.
1-Living Proof | Perfect Hair Day (PhD) 5-in-1 styling Treatment
This styling treatment is meant to smooth, volumize, condition, strengthen and polish to help anyone get a perfect hair day. It has been seen that there is less hair left behind in the brushes. And it keeps hair styles cleaner for longer. The sample I have is worth $7.50. You guys know I love haircare products so I can't wait to review this product.
This mascara is formulated with peptide and proteins for extreme volume and unbeatable strength. It is also formulated with Biotin and collagen to strengthen and plump lashes. This sample is worth $13.33. Who doesn't like mascara? I'm not much of a fake lashes kinda gal so I'll see if this will give me super long thick lashes.
This vintage rose shade suits everyone which is creamy and its conditioning texture won't dry out lips. It also contains peptides, hyaluronic acid and vitamins C and E. This little sample is worth $3.50. I absolutely love this shade!
It is meant to smooth, hydrate and cover blemishes while protecting the skin from the sun. It works for skin prone to irritation, redness and rosacea. The flower extract makes it extra moisturizing. The essential oils help repair cells for a healthier complexion. This sample is worth $3.55. I do have an issue with redness so I'd like to see if this BB cream will be able to cover it.
This hydrating serum contains a high concentration of Avène Thermale Spring water that softens skin. The silky-smooth formula feels like a primer. It also is meant to relieve tightness and irritation in the skin. This sample is worth $6.33. I'm really curious to see if this will actually make a difference to the skin.
This has got to be one of the nicer bags that I have received thus far. The bag is so cute and boujee (yup I used that word). The bag itself is worth $5.
Adding it all together this month's bag is worth $39.21. I'm disappointed that I have yet another low value bag. I wish that I would receive high valued bag like I used to receive. I am sad to say that this will be my last Ipsy first impressions. If you guys actually want me to continue writing them then you can email me at AmandaWeidensjo.email@example.com

Adele Stackhouse is dead and of course Sookie is in shock but damn everyone keeps on bugging her. Can everyone just let the poor girl grieve? Of course Sam and Bill have to seize each other up. My question is why does Bill think he knows Sookie so well? Dude, you've known her maybe a week tops. Or has he known her for a week as he would like everyone to believe? I don't understand how Sookie was able to clean up the kitchen after her grandmother was murdered in it. It's a shame that Adele died she was such a gentle spirit.
Jason is just slowly deteriorating beyond belief. Addicted to vampire blood, suspected of several murders and now hitting his own sister. Thank God for Tara and Lafayette because they are amazing friends. They are funny and caring I wish they were my friends.
Sookie yelling and cursing at everyone during the funeral just made me laugh so much. I would react the same way if not worse had I been able to read mi…
I think this is the first time I'm reviewing a shampoo on my blog. Well well everyone, look who is broadening her horizons LOL! Omg I'm so silly sometimes. Anyway I am reviewing Daily Defense's Argan oil moisturizing shampoo.
This 32 fl.oz shampoo bottle cost me about $2. It cost me around $2 because I bought it at my local Dollar-store. Now buying shampoo for two bucks makes me quite happy and that is because I don't feel like spending $10+ dollars on a freaking shampoo bottle that doesn't even contain half the amount of product in it. You know that over-priced shampoo bottle that really doesn't do much for your hair? Yeah I'm talking about those. I'm trying to avoid buying them unless I'm requested to review them for you wonderful readers.
Strangely enough, I can't seem to find the homepage for Daily Defense. Maybe they don't have one? But I keep finding different online shopping sites selling their products. I'm clueless as to why …
For this review, I am going to review Luxie brushes but instead of them being from one collection, they are from various Luxie brush collections and vary from face to eye brushes. All the brushes were sent to me in Ipsy bags and seeing as how I've had a Ipsy subscription for a few years, I've gotten quite a bit of Luxie brushes. I'm just grouping all of them in one big review. For more on Ipsy, please feel free to visit their website right here. All of the Luxie brushes are handcrafted using hypoallergenic, high quality, vegan and cruelty-free materials. Please keep in mind the prices listed are in American dollars.
