True Blood |Season 2 Episode 9: I Will Rise Up (Review)

Image
***This review will contain spoilers*** This episode started with a bang. The bomb that Luke had strapped on himself went off and a few vampires and humans died. This episode was extremely depressing but also didn't make sense in certain areas.  Starting off with Bon Temps, things are definitely heating up! Maryann is on the hunt for Sam and has enlisted the townspeople to find him and bring him to her. Sam ends up finding Andy, seeking his help and I'm curious how those two will team up together. I love that Lafayette and Tara's mother went to Sookie's house to have an intervention/ to abduct Tara. Honestly, it was the best thing they could do considering her and Eggs were attacking them. Gotta say Lafayette knows how to kick some ass! Still my favourite character!  Even during a crisis Eric is still self-serving. He tricks Sookie into drinking his blood by having her suck the silver bullets out of him. Of course, Bill was not thrilled. He said that even though she con...

Cake Beauty | Delectable Lemon & Cream Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream (Review)

Image
Product Summary: Packed full of goodness this ultra-nourishing hand cream is enriched with shea butter, coconut oil and aloe vera to smooth, nourish and rejuvenate hands and cuticles. Rich and never greasy, this beautiful blend leaves your hands super smooth, superbly soft, and perfectly pretty. Costs around 10$. How to: Massage into hands focusing on cuticles and dry spots. Re-apply as often as you like.  Side note: It's really cool that they're a Canadian company. As a Canadian blogger, I hope to be able to feature more Canadian companies on my blog. I ended up receiving this item in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 4-5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. You can  click here to check out Ipsy. ***Cruelty-free ❤👍*** I tend to have really dry hands, especially, in the knuckle area because I wash my hands very often. And since Covid-19 hit, I've tripled the amount of times I wash my hands. My hands have neve...

The Announcement By: Michael J. Gajda (Book Review)

Image
(((I received this book to review but it will in no way influence my review and rating))) Summary: You drive down a road for the hundredth time and notice a house you've never noticed before. You look at a picture and never saw that green spot before. You pick veggies or fruit and think you've cleared the area, then go back and see all the ones you missed. It's all in your point of view. There's a new perspective, a different angle - and you see things differently. And that's where The Announcement comes in. It provides that different point of view, that new perspective, that different angle, and does so with a purpose, It's for anyone who would like to see the world be a better place, but will challenge your ideas of what ""better"" is. And when you're done, and have had a chance to absorb The Announcement, think of others who would hate this book. Then give it to them and cajole, bribe, beg or whatever you have to do to get the...

Ipsy June Glam Bag (First Impression)

Image
Hey guys, So I received my June Glam Blag a few weeks ago and I thought that I should share with all of you my first impression on the products. . You might see some excitement on my face, you may not. And of course I had to add a photo, it is right below. And for the month of June the theme was Swim into Beauty. My overall impression of everything that I received is that I wasn't satisfied with what I got. Granted most of the products I received are from brands that I have never tried before but still last month`s glam bag was better. If you guys want to check it out, you can click  here  for it. Also, I have to pay $20 Canadian for my Ipsy bag since I'm in Canada which is why I was disappointed with the products because they were all sample/deluxe sized. If you want to subscribe to Ipsy or want to check it out you can  click here. June Glam bag: For this month I didn't really like the makeup bag because it didn't really fit with the theme. It was b...

Comments (on my blog)

Image
Hello to all my fellow readers, This post is directed to all of you who follow and read my blog. I wanted to thank all of you because knowing that there are actually people reading and appreciating my blog and the different posts that I write makes my day. I have been receiving quite a few comments as of late and the ones that I have read have all been wonderful. I am so thankful to all of you who support me and my blog. There are some comments, however, that are not relevant to my blog or to the posts that the comments are directed to. Those that are not relevant I don`t appreciate them at all. If you want to comment go right ahead but comment on posts that are actually relevant to what is being discussed. There was this one comment that I received yesterday that made my heart swell (not literally of course) and this reader basically wrote that they have been going through my blog and that they liked my posts and that if the Internet was filled with similar content as mine that...
