Hugh Jackman is the only and only Wolverine I acknowledge unless we get some more Cavillrine then I'd be okay with him having some more screen time. It's no lie that the X-Men movies have been dropping in quality for years, however, they have casted some of the most amazing actors who in my humble opinion could not be replaced. ***This review will contain spoilers*** Summary: Five teenage mutants; Mirage, Wolfsbane, Cannonball, Sunspot and Magik undergo treatments at a secret institution that will cure them of their dangerous powers. Invited by Dr. Cecilia Reyes to share their stories, their memories soon turn into terrifying realities as they start to question why they're being held and who's trying to destroy them.  Jeez, another X-Men movie that just misses the mark. Great concept, terrible execution. I like the idea of the new mutants being introduced on the big screen but there was a huge missed opportunity. This movie should have been taken and utilized to set up the future of the X-Men universe. These X-Men movies have honestly been all over the place that it's hard to keep track on who is alive and which storyline we should be following.  I like the new mutants that were picked for this movie but I would have done a lot more than what were given. *This review will contain spoilers* Summary: The X-Men face their most formidable and powerful foe when one of their own, Jean Grey, starts to spiral out of control. During a rescue mission in outer space, Jean is nearly killed when she's hit by a mysterious cosmic force. *This review will contain spoilers* Summary: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. His plan to hide from the outside world gets upended when he meets a young mutant who is very much like him. Logan must now protect the girl and battle the dark forces that want to capture her.  This movie has garnered a lot of success and has amazing reviews but I just don't get it! I found this movie seriously underwhelming and a big let down. I grew up watching the X-Men movies from the 2000's and I loved them. Over the years there has been a decline in the quality of X-Men movies being produced and the story lines have more holes than Swiss cheese. This movie, unfortunately, is no exception.  X-Men: Days of Future Past  I did quite enjoy overall, however, there were quite a bit of plot holes that were never discussed or even mentioned. (((There will be spoilers))) Movie Summary: Our favourite sarcastic and wisecracking mercenary DeadPool meets Russell, an angry teenage mutant who lives at an orphanage. When Russell becomes the target of Cable, a genetically altered soldier from the future. Deadpool makes it his mission to save the boy from a terrible death. DeadPool ends up teaming up with powerful mutants to hopefully change the present, future, and the past. Of course before we even have a word spoken in the movie we have a Wolverine reference more so concerning the Logan movie. In the opening scene, we see typical DeadPool acting depressed and self-destructive. No, I really mean literally. At least on the self-destructive part. He lights up a bunch of oil filled barrels and we have a huge explosion DeadPool style. Funny enough, we have a foreshadowing where DeadPool tells the audience he will die in this movie. Summary:  Believing that mutants pose a threat to humanity, Dr. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) creates the sentinels. Sentinels are enormous robotic weapons that are able to detect a mutant gene and zero in on that person. 50 years into the future, the sentinels are not just targeting mutants anymore; they are targeting everyone who are associated with them. Mutants now facing extinction, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) goes to the past and must rally the X-men of the past to help change a crucial moment in history, thus, saving their future.  Opening Scene: Right off the bat, we see into a dystopian future where mutants and humans alike are being killed and destroyed. In Moscow, we see familiar and new faces such as; Bobby aka Iceman, Kitty Pryde and Colossus. We see them fighting sentinels and these robots are actually adopting/replicating the mutants abilities. ***There will be spoilers.*** Summary: In the present day, Logan (Hugh Jackman) lives as a hermit in Yukon who is tormented by hallucinations of Jean Grey(Famke Janssen); the woman and mutant he loved but was forced to kill. Logan gets tracked down by Yukio (Rila Fukushima) on behalf of Yashida who is dying. He wants to meet Logan because he was a Japanese soldier that Logan saved during World War II. Opening Scene: The scene is set back in World War II, where we can see Logan Aka Wolverine saving a Japanese soldier in Japan where an atomic bomb hits. Which we find out is Logan having a flashback but then is having a hallucination of killing Jean. To be fair if I had to kill the man I loved I would have the same issues. I definitely have an understanding when it comes to Logan trying to enact revenge for the grizzly bear. Summary: Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr were known as Professor X and Magneto, they were both two young men who first met in the 1960's during the Cold War and soon become close friends. However, as the world falls close to a nuclear war, Charles and Erik with other fellow mutants must join forces to save humanity. Unfortunately, a nuclear war won't be the only thing tearing these two friends apart. Opening Scene-Poland 1944 This opening scene is the re-enactment of the first ever scene of X-Men (from way back in the first movie). This tells me two things. First, we the audience are being transported into the past and that this movie is a new start to the X-Men franchise while also acknowledging the previous three movies. (((Will Contain Spoilers))) Summary: This is the origin story of Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) who is a former special forces operative that is currently working as a mercenary. Wilson was subjected to a rogue experiment that left him disfigured, gave him accelerated healing and he adopts his alter ego aka +Deadpool . With help from mutant allies Deadpool will use his new abilities to hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life. The opening credits definitely demonstrated Deadpool's personality. Before the action started we had Deadpool speak to the audience and tell us how he got starred in his own movie which he indiscreetly mentioned Wolverine. However, when he was in the SUV kicking butt he put a cigarette lighter in one of the henchmen's mouth and said "I've never said this but don't swallow!" OMG!!!
