The Pope’s Exorcist (Movie Review)

***This review will contain spoilers*** Summary: Father Gabriele Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican, uncovers a centuries old conspiracy while investigating a young boy's terrifying possession.  "When we jeer at the Devil and tell ourselves that he does not exist, that is when he is happiest."  -Father Gabriele Amorth  I have known of Father Amorth for many years. He has done tens of thousands of exorcisms and have helped save just as many people. He has had many movies made about him and his experiences and has penned many books in hopes of teaching others and leaving his knowledge behind. His quote about the devil being at his happiest when we mock him rings true. Even if we do not believe doesn't mean it isn't real and cannot effect us. I've had many moments in my life where it felt like I was living my own personal hell on Earth. Now whether that be the devil's direct actions or influence it's hard to say but by the grace of God and prayer God ...

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (Movie Review)

***This review will contain spoilers**** Summary: Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren take on one of the most sensational cases of their careers after a cop stumbles upon a dazed and bloodied young man walking down the road. Accused of murder, the suspect claims demonic possession as his defense, forcing the Warrens into a supernatural inquiry unlike anything they've ever seen before.  Opening scene: Ed and Lorraine are helping a little boy named David with an exorcism. The demon leaves David alone, unfortunately, Arne invites the demon into him. As if the night couldn't get any crazier, Ed ends up having a major heart attack that was caused by the demon possessing the little boy's body.  This was such an intense and well done movie. I feel that's a theme with reviewing the Conjuring movies. I always say they were well done and executed perfectly. But in all honesty, I loved every single one of them including this one. In this movie, we're expanding and...

The Conjuring (Movie Review)

***This review will contain spoilers*** Summary: In 1970, paranormal investigators and demonologists Lorraine and Ed Warren are summoned to the home of Carolyn and Roger Perron. The Perrons and their five daughters have recently moved into a secluded farmhouse, where a supernatural presence has made itself known, though the manifestations a are relatively benign at first, events soon escalate in horrifying fashion, especially, after the Warrens discover the house's macabre history.  I have known of Ed and Lorraine Warren (may they rest in peace) since I was a little kid. They are synonymous with the paranormal, and some of the craziest stories you will ever hear. And have been a part of the most terrifying and famous paranormal cases.  The opening scene is about one of their most famous cases to date with the Annabelle doll. I'm happy that their story is being told on the big screen but people need to remember that things get exaggerated and not every scene happened the exact ...
