Shopping My Stash | Nail Polish Edition

Image
This year has been the year of underconsumption and using what I have without purchasing more of things and items that I already have in my stash. One thing that I have an abundance of is nail polish. I have nail polishes that are over 15 years old. Fortunately, most of what I have is still usable and I've trying to use it up instead of purchasing more or trying different nail techniques that requires me to buy more items.  For a while, I was very much into going into the nail salon and getting acrylics. Eventually, I stopped going because it was just getting too expensive and I needed something different to do. So, I tried dipped nails. That lasted a couple of years but this past year I've taken a break on that and have been just using nail polish. The main reason I was getting my nails done is because mine are very thin and easily break so it was nice having them rigid and not breaking every second day.  Doing dip nails at home was my way of trying to save money while also h...

Trust Fund Beauty | That Glo Tho Highlighter (Review)

Image
This super cream highlighter is high performance, applies on smoothly and lasts all day and night. That Glo Tho highlighter is vegan and free of toxic chemicals. This cream highlighter comes in a sleek black packaging resembling a lipstick tube. This highlighter is currently priced at $8 on Trust Fund Beauty's website. For more info on this product or if you want to buy it you can check out their website (((Here)))  I actually received this product in one of my Ipsy Glam bags which is basically a beauty subscription box. It's really cool because that's how I came across this company. You can find out more about Ipsy (((Over here))) **********Cruelty free. Not tested on animals 👍*********** I do have to say I am quite a fan of their cream formula. It applies on smoothly and evenly. It's not patchy but quite pigmented as can be seen from the swatch below and pigment is something I love to see in my highlighters! The formula is quite nice because it doesn't dry...

Ipsy April Glam Bag 2016 | First Impressions

Image
(Boy am I really behind on these first impressions 😬 I promise I'll try to catch up quickly) +ipsy  is a beauty subscription service that for $10 or $20 for us Canadians a month you will receive 4-5 beauty products ranging from sample to full sizes. This is beneficial to those who want to try out different and new beauty products that you otherwise wouldn't necessarily have been able to find in drugstores. Plus the value of the the whole glam bag (all the products) you receive are higher than the $10 or $20 that you would pay. For more information on Ipsy you can  click here. For this month's glam bag the theme is Dreamers. The theme does match with the card that I received with my glam bag but yet again I don't see how the theme correlates to the products I received, unless there isn't supposed to be a connection. 1- Moroccan Oil:  Treatment (The Original) This product is meant to give you silky, shiny and healthy hair. This oil can be used for conditi...
