Image
Boom I'm catching up! Now if all of you do not know  Ipsy  is a beauty subscription service that for $10 or $20 for us Canadians a month you will receive 4-5 beauty products ranging from sample to full sizes. This is beneficial to those who want to try out different and new beauty products that otherwise wouldn't necessarily have been able to find in drugstores. Plus the value of the products you receive are higher than the $10 or $20 that you would pay. For this month's glam bag the theme is Hello, Spring! Truthfully, it`s not very original but I`ll take it. I do like that the theme matches with the bag and the items in the bag. Well most of them anyway. Now for the impressions of the items. 1- NYX Cosmetics : Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Pink Lust. This liquid lipstick is meant to glide on smooth, sets into a striking matte finish, is waterproof and be long-lasting. Retails for $10. Just by looking at the swatch I can say it is extremely pigmented and cream...

Nivea Gentle Cleansing Wipes Review

Image
This 3-in-1 cleansing wipes enriched with natural Almond oil is for those with dry skin. It is meant to cleanse gently, remove makeup and waterproof mascara plus soothe the skin. These wipes retail for about $8. It comes with 25 wipes and has a resealable seal. First off, I'm not a huge fan of the scent. My eyes start to sting when I smell the wipes or if just get a small whiff of them. It is just not a pleasant scent. Especially, when having to use these wipes on your face. On top of that the wipes feel rough on my skin, The wipes themselves don't feel very durable and they thin out as soon as I used them on my face.  Most of the time it doesn't feel as if my face has been removed of all makeup. I checked on that and realized that it doesn't. After wiping my face with these wipes I used my favourite makeup wipes and it removed the makeup that the  +NIVEA  wipes failed to remove. It just showed me that it doesn't remove all my makeup. Like after that wh...

Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss in Strawberry (Review)

Image
I originally reviewed Bite Beauty's lush fruit lip gloss in Rambutan and if you guys want to give it a read you can  click here.  So here I am reviewing another colour. As you can see from the picture below I have a sample of the gloss Strawberry and the reason I got it is because I got it in a bundle with other glosses from  +Sephora .  I have the sample sized gloss, their full sized lip glosses retails for $25 which to me is pretty expensive for a lip gloss. These lush fruit lip glosses are 99% natural and are made with real fruit. Real fruit? Why do they have to state that? Are we expecting the ingredients to be fake fruit? LOL But seeing how natural the glosses are, there are less chances of digesting toxic chemicals.  This modern formula is meant to be highly pigmented, rich, vibrant and juicy. They are also meant to be nutritious to the lips and are formulated without parabens, sulfates and phthalates. Strawberry is described as a sheer carnatio...

Ipsy February Glam Bag 2016 (First Impressions)

Image
Woohoo I am slowly catching up! Slowly but surely. Before going into great detail about the products I received I will talk about the theme for the month of February. The theme for February is Pretty in #IpsyPink. I like the theme I guess it does tie in with the whole Valentine's day holiday but as far as the products themselves? Not so much. I don`t understand why they have themes if the theme itself is not reflected with the contents of the bag. 1- Chella : Lipstick Pencil in Passionate Pink.  The lipstick pencil is meant to be moistu...

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Foundation Review

Image
For today I will be reviewing Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Radiant Firming Makeup in Classic Ivory (150) aka their foundation. First off, I have to say that this is the longest name for a product. Just say foundation, why would you say makeup instead? I just found that weird.  This foundation is made with Goji Berry and caffeine, the formula is meant to visibly firm and improve the skin's appearance. This foundation can be used by all skin type's. It is also meant to smooth and even skin tone while giving the skin a radiant look. Basically, this foundation is meant to help the skin and make it look nicer. For more info on this foundation you can click here.   This foundation retails for about $7-$8 but I got mine on sale for $1.87 because mama don't pay full price lol. You can find this foundation at drugstores and Walmart. I originally thought that the shade that I have is the lightest because classic Ivory is usually very close to being white (from my experi...
