We had a mix of Beauty and the Beast mixed in with the story of the Minotaur from the Island of Crete. The way Cast interwove everything was definitely different and not something I have read so far. Even when 'the beast' or aka Asterius was retelling how he came to be it was totally different to how we know the story of the Minotaur to be. Each story and the anthology itself is centered around Montana. But more specifically around the town of Marietta. Apparently, Marietta is a magical western, amazing, where love can be found town with an amazing community. Personally, I doubt that this 'magical' town is as amazing and magical as the authors make it out to be but I am open to their suggestions of said town.
