***This review will contain spoilers*** Summary: It's been 29 years since someone lit the black flame candle and resurrected the 17th century Sanderson sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on all Hollow's Eve. Opening scene: We are transported to 17th century Salem and see the 'origin' of the Sanderson sisters. Even as young girls they are just as feisty and headstrong as their adult selves. The sisters didn't want to be split up by the order of Reverend Trask. The sisters wanted to stay together so instead they runaway to the Forbidden forest and come across Mother Magic and given the book. Not just any book but THE book.
