Image
Product Summary: This eye cream is a multi-purpose eye treatment that instantly relieves and protects dry, fragile skin around the eye area. It features a ground-breaking combination of ingredients to help prevent chronic inflammation, irritation, and premature aging. A soothing blend of nourishing ingredients drench the eye area with moisture while aiding in the reduction of fine lines. With continued use, this moisturizing cream can diminish the appearance of dark circles and reduce under-eye puffiness. Cost: $24.50 ***Cruelty free*** I ended up receiving this item in a Ipsy glam bag which is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get 5 items from sample to full size for around 20$ Canadian. Click  here to check them out.   I've been trying eye creams for a few years now and only a small percentage of them will actually improve the undereye area because so many companies/brands make these big claims that they can't back up. This eye cream, however, has made a ...

The Nun (Movie Review)

Image
***There will be spoilers in this review*** Summary: When a young nun at a cloistered Abbey in Romania takers her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order's unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun from the Conjuring 2 as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.  Opening scene: Taking place in 1952, we are automatically being reintroduced to the same demonic entity; Valak that the Warrens fought. The demon is hunting down nuns in an abbey and wrecking havoc on their lives. The haunting is so severe that one of the nuns takers her own life to escape the demon and prevent it from possessing her body.  From start to finish, this is a frighteningly well done movie. It brings all the elements from the previous con...

House Of The Dragon | Season 1 Episode 2: The Rogue Prince (Episode Review)

Image
***This review will contain spoilers*** I'm so infuriated with this episode. The episode itself was really good but the subject matter  got me really pissed off. I'm a strong independent woman that is a go-getter and doesn't wait for a man to approve my decisions nor do I need a man to dictate my life. I'm through and through a 21st century woman. So seeing men toss aside a woman's opinion or not holding her in high regard as far as worth pisses me off to no end. Poor Rhaenyra is the heir but yet she is still reduced to nothing but a cupbearer who should be seen and not heard. How the fuck can you be heir to all this crap and still not be invited into the conversation? Her father really put her at a disadvantage and continues to do so by allowing others like Otto Hightower say in front of the council that Rhaenyra would be better suited to do something else than have opinions about what is currently happening in the realm. As if her opinion doesn't matter. She i...

Morphe | 35 XO Natural Flirt Artistry Palette (Review)

Image
Product Summary: Show off that flirty side all season long with this playful palette. Shimmering nudes mix and mingle with blushing berries for a glam good-time. Take full advantage of these sultry shades and show everyone that less can truly mean more. Cost: $34 but I bought it on sale from Sephora for $24. ***Cruelty free*** This is my first Morphe product and eyeshadow palette from them. I'm so happy I bought this palette because it's so versatile and easy to use. It has a nice combination of neutral, pink and purple shadows. There's enough diversity that you can make a lot of different eye looks that range from natural, glamorous and evening looks. If you're starting out and want to build a palette collection this is a great one to start with. This is one of the few palettes that I love reaching for and I don't think I'll store away in a drawer like I have with other palettes I've reviewed in the past.  The pigmentation is absolutely amazing, it's l...

Hocus Pocus 2 (Movie Review)

Image
***This review will contain spoilers*** Summary: It's been 29 years since someone lit the black flame candle and resurrected the 17th century Sanderson sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on all Hollow's Eve. Opening scene: We are transported to 17th century Salem and see the 'origin' of the Sanderson sisters. Even as young girls they are just as feisty and headstrong as their adult selves. The sisters didn't want to be split up by the order of Reverend Trask. The sisters wanted to stay together so instead they runaway to the Forbidden forest and come across Mother Magic and given the book. Not just any book but THE book.  This sequel has long been awaited by many people for decades. The first movie is older than me and even I was hoping for a sequel. The lure of the first movie was how dark and twisted it could get. It wasn't af...

Physicians Formula | Nude Wear Glowing Nude Bronzer (Review)

Image
Product summary: Weightless bronzer delivers a complexion boosting lit from within glow. Perfect palette of bronze shades creates the most natural, healthy bronze glow. Look flawless without looking made up! Perfecting formulas deliver a beautiful bare skin effect and skin-glowing finish. Airy formulas are infused with a natural extract that allows skin to breathe as if completely in the nude! 100% perfecting nude pigments allow skin's natural radiance to shine through. Cost: $15.99 but I got it on sale for half off. ***Cruelty free*** As a extremely pale woman with very little pigmentation I have to be careful when using bronzer because it can look bad very quickly, especially, if I don't use a light hand. The bronzer is a gorgeous color and very shimmery. However, it pulls more orange on my skin than anything else (you can see from the above picture). So instead I use this more as a blush since it's very similar to a lot of peachy coloured blushes that I use.  I use a ver...
